Overcoming limiting beliefs – An Attitude of Gratitude

One of the most powerful steps that I have taken in creating positive change and shifting limiting beliefs so far has been keeping a Gratitude Diary. This is a lovely, simple process, or `abundance game` in which I take a few minutes every evening to write down as many things that I am grateful for over the last day as I can think of (minimum five). I also find it really important to feel the emotion of gratitude as I write them down. As I have become more in tune with my body, mind and awareness, this has become a very tangible feeling in my body, but also across the whole front of my head/brain – very interesting.

So how does writing a few words each day change your life? Well, by focusing on the feeling of gratitude and how good it feels, you send a message to your subconscious to look out for more reasons to be grateful. This then means that you consciously notice good things and opportunities around you that you may not have seen before, if you were unintentionally focusing on a less positive emotion. The Law of Attraction in Action.

Of course, life`s full of ups and downs and sometimes it can be hard to feel grateful. At these times, I look at the situation objectively an try to spot anything that I can learn from it. I also use techniques such as EFT and Matrix Reimprinting to restore balance and look beyond any limiting beliefs that come up as a result.

Having taken a 3 month break from this practice and then restarting again in May, I can definitely say that keeping a gratitude diary changes everything for me. I seem to get more of the things that I wish for, feel more positive, the right people showing up in my life etc. There are also a wide range of other `abundance games` and practices that can be used to change your subconscious patterns and beliefs about living a prosperous, happy and free life, as is your right. Feel free to contact me if you`d like to find out more about these life changing processes and experience the benefits for yourself.
